Based in Cambridgeshire, Mark Williams is a photographer specialising in wildlife, mainly in the British Isles, although 2013 also saw him in Africa and Madagascar.
Mark's photography started with a Kodak 127 brownie when he was 8, snapping holiday images. Since then he has progressed through Fuji film SLR and bought his first digital in 2003.
In 2013 he was short listed for the British Wildlife Photography Awards in the animal behaviour category and in 2014 the Amphibians and Reptiles category of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. In addition his work has been used by The League Against Cruel Sports, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, the Great Fen project and Grapevine Magazine.
